Product Benefits

Beta-glucans are fibers which effectively prevent against upper respiratory infections by activating the body’s immune cells and modulating the immune response to make it as efficient as possible. Andrographis paniculate, an herb which has been used in Ayurvedic medicine, has shown antiviral benefits, as well as immunostimulatory activity and treatment of upper repiratory infections.

AHCC ® is a source of polysaccharides from the immune system modulator, Ganoderma lucidium, which has been the subject of several conclusive studies showing its immunity benefits, including increasing the secretion of TNF alpha, promotion of the immune response of helper T cells, reduction of recurrences of genital or labial herpes, and increasing the concentrations of reduced glutathione and the activities of glutathione peroxidase, glutathione-S-transferase, and superoxide dismutase, all potent anti-oxidants.

Finally, through its ability to help inhibit viral replication, zinc is an essential element of immunity.
