Product Benefits

Dr. Pruss’ Comprehensive Multivitamin for Women includes a wide spectrum of the most active and bioavailable forms of vitamins, including A, C, D3, E (as alpha-tocopherol), and K, as well as the B-complex vitamins B1, B2, B6, and B12, which means that they can be used in bodily molecular processes immediately. Also contained are food ingredients that contribute to healthy thyroid function.

This multivitamin formula includes lutein and zeaxanthin, the predominant carotenoids which are found in the retina of the eye. Zeaxanthin helps protect the eyes from macular degeneration, UV rays, and free radical damage. In the same way it protects the eyes from UV light, it does the same with skin, and is thus beneficial to skin health, as well.

Also included are watercress extract, a detoxifier, as well as cruciferous vegetable extracts, which have been shown to be effective in modulating estrogen receptors.

To add to its comprehensive benefits, this product contains grapeseed extract, which is rich in antioxidants. Grapeseed extract has also been shown to help reduce blood pressure, improve circulation, and promote health and longevity.

Given the poor quality of the soil from which much of our current food supply is derived, deficiencies in B vitamins (in particular, folic acid and B12), as well as selenium, zinc, iodine, and magnesium, are not uncommon.

In addition to selecting the most critical ingredients to ensure optimal bodily function for today’s woman, we have also selected the most effective potencies. Compared to some of the more popular multivitamins on the market, our dosages of many ingredients are significantly higher in order to ensure the maximum efficacy and bioavailability.
